Privacy Policy - Doctor Portal

Who we are

The Dentsoft Doctor Portal (website and Android app) lets dentists see the cases, invoices and payments their dental laboratory keeps for them in the Dentsoft lab software, and send new cases to that laboratory. Contact: Dentsoft Support, WhatsApp / phone +92 323 4648225.

What information is used

• From your dental lab: your name, clinic, mobile number, your cases (patient name, work, teeth, shade, dates, amounts), invoices and payments. The lab decides which doctors are on the portal.
• From you: the new cases you send - patient name, work, teeth, shade, notes, photos and 3D scan files you choose to add. Scan files are deleted from our server after 90 days.
• Notifications (only if you turn them on): your browser gives an address to send case updates to your phone. It is used only for your lab's updates and is deleted when you turn notifications off.
• For security: a login token on your phone, and a record of wrong PIN attempts to block guessing.

How it is used

Only to show you your own records and to deliver your cases to your lab. We do not sell or share this information, do not show advertising and do not use it for any other purpose. Each lab's data is kept separate; a doctor sees only their own records.

Storage and security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on our server. PINs and lab keys are stored only in hashed form. Five wrong PINs lock the login for 15 minutes.

Patient information

Patient names and photos are sent by the doctor to the doctor's own lab for making the dental work. Please add only what the lab needs.

Keeping and deleting data

Records stay while your lab uses the portal. When the lab turns your access off, your records are removed from the portal. To ask for deletion, contact your lab or Dentsoft Support.

Children

The portal is for dental professionals and is not meant for children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page.
